What Is Embodied Processing?

Embodied Processing is a gentle, evidence‑informed way of helping the body complete the emotional and physiological survival responses or adaptations it never had the chance to finish. Instead of analysing or retelling your story, it works with the body’s natural intelligence — the sensations, impulses, and subtle shifts that show us where stress, overwhelm, or old patterns are still being held.

At its core, Embodied Processing teaches you how to feel safely, stay present, and let your system unwind at its own pace. It’s not about pushing, fixing, or digging. It’s about creating the conditions for your nervous system to soften, release, and reorganise itself.

How It Works

Embodied Processing guides you to:

  • Notice what’s happening inside your body with curiosity rather than fear

  • Track sensations, tension, temperature, movement, and emotion

  • Stay with these sensations long enough for the body to process them
